Today on April 25th, the second day of my 3 day beach photo shoot adventure, I had a shoot scheduled with TheaTray. I'm always excited to shoot with Theatray because she has been shooting with me for about 2 years now and has never let me down. She always brings a lot of energy to the shoot and is very charismatic. She is beautiful, works out hard to maintain her physique through dieting and fitness, has a deep love for the craft, and also has a bit of experience behind the camera as much as she does in front of it. She loves photography whether it be posing in front of the camera to help an idea come to life or snapping photos herself of animals, people, nature and doing some post processing of her own. On top of all that, TheaTray has also proven to be a loyal friend and has been there whenever I simply need some company or someone to talk to. So working with TheaTray is always a pleasure and something to look forward to.

On this project we decided that we wanted to shoot for black and white images on a beach. We decided to go to Mobbly Bayou Beach Park at Oldsmar City park, that was only about a 15 minute drive away from me. We were trying for the evening golden hour, that generally only lasts 20-30 minutes. We knew that we would only have a short time frame to shoot it in. The window of opportunity was small but we wanted to take full advantage of it. So we got there a few minutes before sun down, and kept shooting until the sun just dipped behind the horizon. I brought a strobe light with a small beauty dish and placed it on a stand to fill in the shadows. The images we captured were simply breath-taking with the lighting, scenic view, atmosphere color and Theatray's sensational modeling. So beautiful that I decided to keep some of the images with color while making the video grab in black and white. Either way the images are captivating and the shoot ended up being super fun. Theatray is always full of jokes. So needless to say, she had me laughing the whole time. But you would never know that by simply looking at the images. Which is exactly my point. She can create a whole entire different world in front of the camera regardless of the world that exists behind it. She juggles both seamlessly and always leaves you with a wonderful experience on both ends. Proud of this shoot as I always am when I shoot with her.
